California Co-Op Cab, Inc. is a taxi cab transportation co-op that operates a
website and apps for its passengers to use.
Your privacy is very important to us. Accordingly, we have developed this Policy
in order for you to understand how we collect, use, communicate and disclose and
make use of personal information. The following outlines our privacy policy.
What information do we collect?
We collect information from you when you register on our site.
When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to
enter your: name, mailing address, phone number or credit card information. You
may, however, visit our site anonymously.
What do we use your information for?
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following
ways:
• To personalize your experience, your information helps us to better respond to
your individual needs.
• To improve customer service, your information helps us to more effectively
respond to your customer service requests and support needs.
• To process transactions. Your information, whether public or private, will not
be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason
whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of
delivering the purchased product or service requested.
• To send periodic emails. The email address you provide may be used to send you

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your
personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your

Children's Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children's Online Privacy
Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of
age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at
least 13 years old or older.
Changes
This Privacy Policy is subject to revision from time to time. We will post any
revised version of the Privacy Policy on this page. If we make any material
changes to it, we will also send you notice to the last email address you have
provided to us. Continued use of our Services following notice of such changes
will indicate your acknowledgement of such changes and agreement to be bound by
the terms and conditions of such changes.

Terms of Service
Please read these Terms of Service ("Agreement", "Terms of Service") carefully
before using http://www.californiacoopcab.com ("the Site") or the apps operated
by California Co-Op Cab. ("us", "we", or "our"). This Agreement sets forth the
legally binding terms and conditions for your use of the site at
http://www.californiacoopcab.com or associated mobile application (“the App”.)
By accessing or using the Site or App in any manner, including, but not limited
to, visiting or browsing the Site or App, or contributing content or other
materials to the Site or App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
All transportation operated by California Co-Op Cab Inc and its affiliates
(commercial partners) are subject to the following Terms of Service (“Terms”).
By agreeing to these Terms, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the
conditions of use listed below, and any future revisions and additions, as
published at californiacoopcab.com/terms. If you’re using California Co-Op Cab
to book a private sedan, SUV and wheelchair transportation service, please
review the terms.
Reservations for transportation to the airport or other destinations are valid
only for the time and date specified. California Co-Op Cab is not responsible
for unused reservation or costs incurred as a result of customer error. When
changing the pick up or drop off location of a reservation, rates are subject to
change and additional charges may apply. By agreeing to these terms of service,
you also confirm that you understand how our service works.
The vehicle should arrive within the 20-minutes window selected at the time of
booking. It is the customer’s responsibility to be ready and waiting to depart
outside of the pickup location at the beginning of the 20-minute window, and
remain for the full designated 20-minute pickup window. Failure to do so may
inhibit our ability to provide service and may result in cancellation fee of
$10.00.
California Co-Op Cab, Inc. is a transportation company and is willing to
license, not sell the California Co-Op Cab platform to you only in regards to
the condition that you accept all the terms contained in this agreement. By
signing up with or by using the California Co-Op Cab platform. You indicate that
you fully understand this agreement and accept all of its terms. If you do not
accept all the terms of this agreement, then California Co-Op Cab is unwilling
to license the platform to you. This paragraph maintains that any version of the
California Co-Op Cab platform that you acquire through download of app store.
That this agreement is entered between you and California Co-Op Cab. Apple Inc
(“Apple”) or Google Play (“Android”) is not a party to this agreement and shall
have zero obligations to California Co-Op Cab platform and the content here
under. This platform provides means or bookings to persons that seek
transportation to certain locations(Riders) to be matched with our taxi cab
drivers which will be labeled as “services.” You must read and agree to all
terms in order to use the mobile app, website and services. California Co-Op
Cab, Inc. is a transportation carrier matching customers with properly screened,
professional taxi drivers who are members of our Co-Op. Any decision by user to
offer or accept a ride once one such user is matched through the platform is a
decision made entirely from the user. California Co-Op Cab App and Website
simply allows and provides means in which riders and drivers can communicate and
provide service. Any damages report from driver involving a rider can and may be
charged $100-350 depending on the severity of the damage. The damage charge
would be transferred to the driver. California Co-Op Cab reserves the right to
restrict riders as well as drivers can decide whether to prohibit a passenger or
not as well.
Our services are not available to children in less occupied by an adult.
Children under 16 will need to be occupied by an adult. By using this app and
site you agree you are over the age of 16. You also agree you are the sole user
of the account. That the information you provided is true and accurate.
California Co-Op Cab has zero control over users accounts including passwords.
If you feel your account has been breached, please contact us immediately.
California Co-Op Cab is not liable for account breaches or accounts suspect to
breach of password or customer information. We reserve the right to ban anyone
from the use of our service for any reason or no reason. The agreement remains
intact unless your account is erased or deleted, or if a letter advising us to
delete your account is sent to our corporate office. You may also email us
directly at dispatch@CaliforniaCoOpCab.com. You agree also to use our website
mobile app and platforms within the laws and services consistent with any and
all regulations. Failure to do so will result in deactivation of account. You
agree to use our services within the environments of travel and point a to point
b. Using the app or website to troll, stalk or collect data will be deemed a
violation of the function of California Co-Op Cab platform. California Co-Op Cab
owns all and retains all intellectual property contingent upon compliance with
terms and conditions. California Co-Op Cab grants to you a limited non
transferable, non exclusive, non assignable, revocable license to use California
Co-Op Cab platforms on any device that you own or control and any and all other
devices you use to access California Co-Op Cab services.
You agree by using the California Co-Op Cab platform that you will not copy
decompile, reverse engineer or disassemble, modify or derive source code.
The customer must include the “Day of Travel” phone number in the event the
driver (“Operator”) calls for assistance during the pickup process. Operators
are not required to call this phone number in advance of the pickup, however.
Failure to provide a contact number for the day of travel may prevent our
ability to provide service and result in possible forfeiture of fare. Customer
may also receive additional notification calls to the designated contact number
announcing reservation details in advance of the pickup. Customer agrees to base
rate designated at time of booking.
Short notice reservations are reservations made less than two hours prior to
requested pickup times. Availability will depend on a variety of conditions,
including pickup location, drop-off location, and current vehicle availability.
Refunds are given if a ride can’t be supplied with 20 minutes of booking or if
ride is cancelled before 10 minutes of original booking, the cancellation fee
will be incurred after 10 minutes of booking, but the remaining amount charged
will be credited back only and if the Booking is cancelled before 10 minutes of
booking time or ride hasn’t arrived within 20 minutes. If ride arrives, then the
transaction is considered completed.
Reservation abandonment occurs when the Operator cannot find the customer at the
designated pick-up location and cannot reach the customer for further
instruction using the “Day of Travel” contact number provided within a short,
reasonable time period, so as not to jeopardize pick-up of other ride
passengers.
Tolls, taxes and other fees may be not included in the calculated cost of the
ride and customer may be responsible for additional charges. A flat rate is
quoted at the time of booking and is guaranteed so long as the reservation is
not changed. Extra stops are not applied in the rate and extra cost may incur at
the rate agreed upon on first initial booking. The rate will be charged after
the trip.
Multiple stops
Customers who wish to add an additional stop must properly communicate this via
email or on the order form. The quote will be changed and emailed back to the
customer for the rate
.
Customers must pay at time of booking to secure advance reservations. Any
charges processed at the time of booking are refundable following the terms
outlined in the Cancellation Policy below.
Our operators and staff reserve the right to request personal identification
from customers with fares exceeding $250. Failure to provide personal
identification matching information on file may result in the inability of the
company to do business.
Discount codes when available are valid for use while reserving the service via
CaliforniaCoopCab.com, and the official mobile applications. They cannot be
combined with other offers. They cannot be redeemed using third party providers.
Under no circumstances will a discount be applied past the expiration date.
Cancellation
Customers can cancel a ride at any time up within 10 minutes of the designated
time of arrival, by mobile website, and the official mobile apps. Cancellations
can also be made by calling 916-444-7777. A cancellation fee will be applied of
$10.00, if driver arrives at pickup location prior to cancellation or after 10
minutes of time booking. If cancellation occurs within the time frame stated
above full refund will be made. The $10.00 cancellation will be deducted from
the total amount, the remainder will be credited back to the client. If the
cancellation is made before the arrival time, before driver arrives or within 10
minutes of the booking then full refund will be given.
Customer is responsible for properly specifying the correct amount of luggage he
or she intends to bring onto the vehicle during reservation. Failure to specify
in advance may result in additional fees or the need for an additional vehicle,
or the inability of the company to service the reservation.
Customers traveling with valuables, priceless items, and prescription drugs
should keep these items in their possession.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure any belongings kept with customer
in the main seating compartment of the vehicle are securely packed and fastened,
and that any breakable items are protected while using the service. California
Co-Op Cab is not liable for lost, stolen or damaged items. The drivers are
independent contractors and not employees of California Co-Op Cab Inc. If Items
are lost or forgotten you may contact California Co-Op Cab Inc, lost and found
at 916-444-7777. California Co-Op Cab Inc assumes no liability in the event of
damage, loss or theft of any such property and will not be responsible for
losses incurred, including but not limited to, loss of future profit, potential
income, and additional expenses or losses incurred as a result of lost or stolen
baggage or personal property. California Co-Op Cab vehicles seat 4-5 passengers
depending on the city vehicle profile. Oversized or excess luggage may require a
larger or private vehicle at an additional cost.
Smoking is not permitted in any of our vehicles.
Seat capacity is limited to seats with working safety belts. State laws prohibit
loading vehicles beyond seating capacity. Any attempt to do so may require
additional vehicle reservations.
In compliance with federal regulations, the service offers accessible vehicles
to customers with disabilities, including those who use wheelchairs and those
who are accompanied by service animals.
For transportation into airports, customers are required to make advance
reservations. For transportation from airports, reservations are not required
with the exception of a few, select cities. For customers requiring the use of
accessible transportation in all other cities, reservations are encouraged, but
not required.
California Co-Op Cab Inc welcomes the opportunity to serve our younger
travelers. If making an online reservation, please indicate the number of
children traveling so we can reserve a seat. State laws do not allow children to
ride in the lap of an adult. If your child is under the minimum age/weight
standards, you must supply an approved car seat for each child to whom the
applicable law applies. It is recommended that traveling parents and legal
guardians become knowledgeable about the applicable laws in the states in which
they will be traveling. For more information on applicable laws, please visit:
the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety website. Operators reserve the right
to refuse service to parties out of compliance with state law.
Customers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for
the entire duration of the ride. Operators may refuse service if a child is not
old enough to ride alone and is without an adult or guardian.
Pets are permitted with advance reservations. All pets, excluding service
animals, must be kenneled. Pets less than 25 pounds may be held in a lap
carrier. Pets larger than 25 pounds may require an exclusive van. All pets must
be properly secured. Service animals are permitted in vehicles. Please be
mindful of the vehicle size while booking rides with a service animal. Please be
aware that if you have an allergy to animals, California Co-Op Cab in accordance
with the ADA provides service to individuals accompanied by service animals. In
addition, other passengers may be traveling with a cat or dog.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information at time of booking.
When he/she provides information for travel, the customer agrees that the
information will be accurate. California Co-Op Cab Inc is not responsible for
mistakes made by customers while using the service, its official websites, or
mobile applications.
Americans With Disabilities Act
California Co-Op Cab Inc welcomes all guests with disabilities, including
individuals who are accompanied by service animal.
Seatbelts are provided for customer safety. California Co-Op Cab Inc requires
customers to wear safety belts while inside the vehicle, but it is the
customer’s responsibility to ensure the seatbelt is securely fastened, as
required by law. Operators reserve the right to refuse service to parties out of
compliance with applicable laws. To review the safety belt laws for the area in
which you will be traveling please visit the Insurance Institute for Highway
Safety website.
Confirmation emails are provided at the time of booking to allow customers to
review details of their reservation in advance of the reservation. Additionally,
certain locations provide automated reminder phone calls the day before pickup,
allowing the customer time to cancel or make any changes two hours or more in
advance of the reservation, as required by the Cancellation Policy outlined
above.
California Co-Op Cab and its partners are not responsible for significant delays
in anticipated arrival due to traffic, weather, or road conditions, or any other
unforeseen circumstances. Under such conditions, California Co-Op Cab Inc
reserves the right to cancel and refund reservations in advance of the scheduled
pickup.
Limitations on Compensation Following Service Failure
Where it is determined to be company fault, customers may receive compensation
in the form of a partial or complete refund, reservation credits, or through
other means.
In most cases where alternative transportation is taken and paid for by the
customer, reimbursement will not include full refund of the original reservation
but will reimburse the difference paid for the alternate mode of transportation
over the original cost of the reservation with service.
California Co-Op Cab Inc does not assume any responsibility for lost income or
potential income, and other losses resulting from missed professional or
personal functions. When traveling to an important event, it is recommended to
allow extra travel time by booking earlier than the recommended time to avoid
delays.
The Customer hereby acknowledges and agrees that, unless a longer period is
mandated and made unwaiveble by law, any claim relating to the services provided
to Customer hereunder, including, without limitation, claims relating to damaged
luggage, missed flight or other out of pocket expenses due to any alleged
service failure, must be brought within 15 days after the occurrence of the act
or omission that is the subject of the claim.
For Credit Card Refunds: Once approved, a refund request is submitted within 24
hours, excluding weekends and federal holidays. The refund is then completed by
customer’s financial institution. Customer should refer to their financial
institution to check on status of refund.
California Co-Op Cab Inc is committed to protecting your privacy. We use the
information you provide to secure your California Co-Op Cab reservation.
At some point in the future, we may use the information we collect to
occasionally notify you about important functionality changes to the Web site,
new California Co-Op Cab services, and special offers we think you'll find
valuable. If we do so, you'll be provided an opportunity to unsubscribe from
this mailing list.
California Co-Op Cab Inc does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information
to others. We may choose to do so in the future with trustworthy third parties.
In addition, we also may market certain third party services through our site.
If you accept the offer, we will pass your relevant personal information,
including name to that third party. If you have previously requested that your
personal information not be shared with third parties, but then later consent by
accepting a third party marketing offer available through our site, we will
share your contact and billing information with that specific third party.
Intellectual Property
The Site and its original content, features and functionality are owned by
California Co-Op Cab, Inc and are protected by international copyright,
trademark, patent, trade secret and other intellectual property or proprietary
rights laws.
Termination
We may terminate your access to the Site, without cause or notice, which may
result in the forfeiture and destruction of all information associated with you.
All provisions of this Agreement that by their nature should survive termination
shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions,
warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
THIS SITE AND ALL CONTENT AND SERVICES INCLUDED ON OR OTHERWISE MADE AVAILABLE
TO YOU THROUGH THIS SITE ARE PROVIDED BY CALIFORNIA CO-OP CAB, INC WITH ALL
FAULTS. AND ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED
IN WRITING. CALIFORNIA CO-OP CAB, INC MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF
ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE OPERATION OF THIS SITE OR THE
CONTENT OR SERVICES INCLUDED ON, OR OTHERWISE MADE AVAILABLE TO YOU THROUGH,
THIS SITE, UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED IN WRITING, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO,
ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR USE OR PURPOSE,
NON-INFRINGEMENT, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND ACCURACY. YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT YOUR
USE OF THIS SITE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT WE ARE ONLY WILLING TO PROVIDE ACCESS TO THE SITE

AGENTS OR EMPLOYEES OF CALIFORNIA CO-OP CAB, INC. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR THE
ACTS, ERRORS, OMISSIONS, REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES, BREACHES OR NEGLIGENCE OF
ANY SUCH TRANSPORTATION PROVIDERS OR FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURIES, DEATH, PROPERTY
DAMAGE, OR OTHER DAMAGES OR EXPENSES RESULTING THEREFROM. WE HAVE NO LIABILITY
AND WILL MAKE NO REFUND IN THE EVENT OF ANY DELAY, CANCELLATION, OR OTHER CAUSES
BEYOND OUR DIRECT CONTROL, INCLUDING THE ACTS OF TRANSPORTATION PROVIDERS, AND
WE HAVE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY ADDITIONAL EXPENSE, OMISSIONS, DELAYS,
RE-ROUTING OR ACTS OF ANY GOVERNMENT OR AUTHORITY.
Indemnification
By accepting these Terms of Service and using the Application or Service, you
agree that you shall defend, indemnify and hold California Co-Op Cab, Inc, its
affiliates, its licensors, and each of their officers, directors, other users,
employees, attorneys and agents harmless from and against any and all claims,
costs, damages, losses, liabilities and expenses (including attorneys' fees and
costs) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your violation or breach of any
term of these Terms of Service or any applicable law or regulation, whether or
not referenced herein; (b) your violation of any rights of any third party,
including Transportation Providers arranged via the Application, or (c) your use
or misuse of the Application or Service.

California Co-Op Cab Inc has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for,
the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party sites or

Governing Law
This Agreement (and any further rules, polices, or guidelines incorporated by
reference) shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of
California, United States, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts
of law.
Changes
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms
of Service by posting the updated terms on the Site. Your continued use of the
Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of
Service.
Please review this Agreement periodically for changes. If you do not agree to
any of this Agreement or any changes to this Agreement, do not use, access or
continue to access the Site or discontinue any use of the Site immediately.
